The microwave chocolate cake (me vs cooking 1)

Me and my brother got bored one day so we decided to make what was supposedly brownie in a mug but it tasted more like chocolate cake so we will go with that. I have to say it was a very nice cake and I quite enjoyed it along with my brother. I took pictures so I will show you them. It really surprised me at how and easy and quick it was to make them. For example cakes normally take a whole lot longer but it was done in under 5 minutes. It was also very filling so that is a bonus.

4 tablespoons of granulated sugar

1 tablespoon of plain flour

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 egg

1. Firstly you need to grab a mug that is microwave safe and crack the egg into it.

2. Add the flour, sugar, oil and cocoa powder and mix until everything is fully incorporated into the batter.

3. Take out the mixing utensil and put the mug into the microwave for 2 minutes (cooking times may vary) or until a tooth pick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

4. Let it cool down slightly then put whatever toppings you want on top.

5. Then you can eat it straight out the mug or put into a bowl it is completely your choice.

I hope you enjoy the cake and let me know in the comments if you have tried it.

Thank you so much for reading this brief random post and I think I may start a new series ( me vs cooking).

I hope you have a lovely day/night. Bye!!!

DIY Halloween Costumes For The Rushed Part 2

Have you ever not been prepared at all for Halloween. For example, it’s the first of October and you are like yay its Halloween at the end of the month. I will think about that later though as it is not too important right now. Then next thing you know it’s October 31st and you are there like where did the time go? No? Well, I guess that will be a fun year for you then. Anyway, let’s presume that this year is that year. The year that we completely forget about a particularly scary holiday. You have like a week left and you need a costume. Unfortunately, it’s too late to order one online and there are none in the shops near you. I have a few tips and tricks for you. So let’s get cracking

Snapchat is always changing their filters and you are guaranteed to find at least one you will love. So how about for Halloween you just recreate it. You could choose any of them. For example, you could go around with a very upset and sad expression and say that you are that particular filter. You could go all out on your makeup and then say you are that one.  Find some random dog ears and paint your nose then spend the entire evening with your tongue out and you will be the dog one. The possibilities are endless. So if you need a quick fix for a costume then use Snapchat as your source for inspiration.

If you either haven’t got Snapchat or you would rather not pretend to be one of the filters, then maybe you should dress up as a doll. A doll’s outfit is pretty simple. Take a puffy dress (look in charity shops if you don’t own one) and wear that with little ballet shoes. The makeup can also be pretty simple. Firstly, take white face paint and mix it with a tiny bit of your foundation. You want your skin to be pale but not white. Put that all over your face then using a translucent powder set your foundation. Take a cream blush and a small brush and draw a perfect circle on the apples of your cheeks and fill that in. You can then set that with some powder blush or you can leave it without. Fill in your eyebrows and then apply the biggest and longest fake lashes you can find. The longer the better. Finally, colour your lips in with the foundation mixture and then make a small circle of red lipstick on them in the centre. There you have it. An easy doll makeup look to scare people this Halloween season. For your hair, you can literally do whatever and it will look normal and intentional. The more perfect and immaculate your hair the creepier you will end up looking and the more people you will be able to scare.

I think that will be it for this year’s last minute costumes posts. That doesn’t mean it will be the end of all Halloween posts, though. Nope, I am not finished yet so stay tuned people.

As of Saturday 22nd of October it is:

  • 8 days until Halloween
  • 63 days until Christmas
  • 124 days until my birthday

Thank you so much for reading this post and I really hope you have enjoyed it. Let me know what have thought in the comments down below and I hope you are having a lovely day/night. Bye!!

Conspiracy Theories Part 2

So I really enjoyed writing the first conspiracy theories post and judging by the views (double the amount I had been used to) you people enjoyed it as well. I have decided to make a part 2 because as I have grown more bored I have begun to find this kind of thing easier. I will show you my new found knowledge and yeah. Continue reading

DIY Halloween Costumes For The Rushed

I couldn’t really think of a good way to start this so this opening few sentences took me all weekend to come up with. I must have looked really weird after I had suddenly composed them in public and then got very excited for what must have seemed like no reason. Oh well. Continue reading

I am back

Right, I am still alive which is always a good sign. Recently I just haven’t been going on my computer as much. Instead, I have been attempting to be social which was proving to be a nightmare. I have discovered I would much rather talk to people over the internet than talk to them in real life. It is just easier I find. Even after weighing up the complications. Talking to people in real life requires you to get dressed in clothes that seem at least slightly presentable and then make your hair, not a mess. You should probably shower somewhere in there. And then you have to get to the place where you are going and then find something fun to do and not get bored. If you are very anti-social(like me!) then that is a big ask and I can tell you that although it was a fun(ish) experience I wouldn’t try that again. On the other hand, I got some good pictures so not all is bad (expect a post including them soon). Anyway from here on out I am going to try and post more frequently and not leave for a month (by the way September favourites is coming). Now that is all cleared up I would like to give you a quick insight into the life of someone who is obsessed with counting down to specific points in the year. As of Tuesday 4th October it is exactly:

  • 27 days until Halloween(spooky)
  • 82 days until Christmas
  • 143 days until my birthday(but that’s next year 😦 )

Thought you should know. So that concludes this very exciting and informative blog post. Reading this should make you feel like you have accomplished something that you never knew needed accomplishing and yeah.

Please feel free to comment down below any ideas that you feel would make a good blog post because even though I am not suffering writer’s block at the moment there will come a time in which I will (it happens to everyone don’t worry if you are in a state of confusion right now) so I will eventually need some ideas to fall back on. Also please comment if you would like to see some fall/Christmas DIYs and maybe a room tour. I don’t know I’m just throwing ideas out there. If you aren’t going to comment one of the things mentioned above then say something so I know you are there.

Thank you so much for reading this blog post and I hope to see you next time. Bye!!
